- My favorite book is A Lesson Before Dying by Ernest Gaines

- I'm in graduate school, so after I graduate I plan to be a librarian.
- What's your favorite subject? Why?
- English. Duh.
I like to read and write. I also like history because I'm interested in why things are the way they are and how people lived before I was alive.
- Who is your hero?
- My hero is probably my grandmother. Well, both of my grandmothers. They both were school teachers during segregation. They faced a lot of challenges, many more than I face now, but they still worked hard to make sure their students learned. I want to do that too.
